It's been forever since I've made a blog post entry. Someday I may get a chance to sit down and write why.
As for right now, I just made some amazing banana nut bread. I found the recipe on the back of a bag of Gold Medal flour. I've been told before that you can't go wrong when you try the recipes on the package of something. the company doesn't want to put a recipe on there that makes their product look bad.
It is super moist and totally yummy! I didn't have a stick of butter that wasn't frozen so I used Coconut Oil instead. We frequently seem to have a banana that gets too ripe before we eat it so I just toss them in my freezer. I had 4 bananas in the freezer so when I ate breakfast I took them out to thaw. Later in the day I had a few minutes to get the bread made.
Andy and I really enjoyed it! It had a slightly crunchy crust and was soft and moist on the inside. Delicious!
